Action Parent: “Me First!” Series
Classes and Presentations for parents to encourage the parent to find an hour a day to do something uniquely for themselves. Not an already established activity or hobby, and not participating at a family or spouse activity; like rooting on the hubby in soft-ball or assistant coaching the kids swim team. Something you truly love or something new, interesting and challenging. Writing, Painting, Singing, Dancing, Mediating. The options are endless and the benefits, infinite. This creation of a new habit, consciously choosing happiness – will improve relationships, communication, physical health and overall optimism.
Action Education:
Basic Mechanics, Construction and Electrical Education for Women
As a graduate of the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute, I appreciate the empowerment of fix-it knowledge. Women have excellent attention to detail and phenomenal ability to multi-task and are well equipped for careers in mechanics, construction and electrical trades.
Harness the Power of Mechanics, Construction and Electrical knowledge as a practical tool for Math and Algebra Education
Our schools are struggling to teach our students the basic concepts of math, especially fractions and algebra, allowing them to be at disadvantage in college and in careers, especially in science and engineering. It is my belief all students benefit from a practical approach to math, algebra and fractions. Mechanical, electrical and construction skills are not only powerful through out life, they teach by doing, not by textbook – skills not forgotten immediately after the test – skills for a lifetime.
I dream of working with educators to create a practical math curriculum based on trade skills.
Action & Respect: 21st Century Sexual Integrity
“The Right time to do the Right thing is Right Now!”
Presentations and workshops for women, introducing and working through an awareness of the complexity of sharing sexual energy in the real world. I dream of a movement of women talking to women about self-respect, strength and the Power of Sexual Energy. This is a movement of non-judgment. It is not about what is wrong, it is all about what is right for you right now, and standing up for it!
